The Planetarium has been offering the museum’s visitors a portal into the vast expanse of the universe for generations and has provided a setting for a fun learning experience. Aside from astronomy and cosmology, our educational programme explores fundamental aspects of the relationship between humans and nature. The main focus here is on how we can look after our planet and use natural resources responsibly. Each year, the Planetarium shares this knowledge with up to 10,000 schoolchildren from all over Switzerland by providing realistic simulations, films, talks, special events and teaching materials.
