The striking panta rhei mural in the Hans Erni Auditorium is a particular attraction. On the two side walls, each 18 metres long, Hans Erni depicts a selection of individuals he considered made a key contribution to Western culture. The artist regarded the spiritual development of the West to result from a sequence of dialogues between the individual epochs – dialogues that were established by people with special insight.
