The Circus Knie has been touring the country as the "Swiss National Circus" for 100 years. The constant moving from site to site of the big top, circus ring, artists and animals is a masterpiece of logistics. The circus travels by train between the locations. The museum is marking the anniversary with the exhibition "Knie on the road", which includes exhibits such as the historic caravan of Margrit Knie-Lippuner, grandmother of Fredy Knie junior and Rolf Knie.
