Already the press conference for the presentation of "The Dark Side Of The Moon" was held in a planetarium - on 27 February 1973 in London. Since then, it has been one of the world's best-selling music albums. Even today, 50 years after the first release, there is no more fitting place than planetariums to celebrate the anniversary of this legendary LP and the music of Pink Floyd.
A lot has changed in technology since the 70s. Interested visitors can expect a visual reinterpretation of a timeless classic. The music of the iconic album has been combined with depictions of cosmic phenomena that fit perfectly with the planetarium presentation venue. Each of the ten music tracks follows its own visual theme. They all play with space and time and, through the use of state-of-the-art technologies, offer a special experience that is only possible in planetariums. Interested visitors can expect an immersive, cosmic audiovisual journey that will also inspire Pink Floyd himself.
This show contains several sequences with flashing light effects that may affect people who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy or have other light sensitivities.
